The Department of English in association with the College Library organized  “Reading Week Celebration” on 20^th June, 2017. The Programme was started with the prayer song.        Mr. K.M Abdul Jamal, College Librarian delivered the welcome address. Dr. A .Biju, Principal presided over the function. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. M.A. Muhammed, Chairman, MES College Managing Committee. The chief guest was Dr. Muse Mary George, renowned writer and Head of the Department of Malayalam, UC College, Aluva. Dr. Bindu Jamal, HOD English , Dr. Manzur Ali P.P, IQAC Coordinator and HOD of Biosciences, Mr. Joseph Deril, Staff Secretary, Mr. Murugan R, HOD Computer Application, Dr. Sopna V. Muhammed, HOD of Business Administration, and Mr. Abdul Azeez, Head Accountant felicitated the session. Mr. Sanjayan T.S delivered the vote of thanks. Ms. Arunima, the budding poet was honoured in this function. On this function the best library users award was distributed to Rajalakshmi C. Nair (BA English) and Shafna M.S (MSc Electronics)
