The Faculty Development Programme on Indian Research Information Network System (IRINS) and Academic Publishing, jointly organized by the College Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and College Library, was successfully conducted on October 30, 2023 at 01:30 PM in the BCA Computer Lab. The esteemed College Principal Dr. Ajims P. Mohammed presided over the function, setting the tone for an enriching session.

The programme began with a warm welcome by College Librarian K M Abdul Jamal, who expressed gratitude to all participants for their active involvement. Dr. Jasmine P M, the College Vice Principal and IQAC Coordinator, and Lt. The highlight of the event was the presence and insightful contributions of the chief guest and resource person, Mr. Jobin Jose, Librarian at Marian College Kuttikkanam. Mr. Jobin Jose, in his engaging session, provided a comprehensive guide on creating an account in the Vidwan portal. His expertise shone as he delved into the intricacies of the Indian Research Information Network System (IRINS) and elucidated its relevance in the academic sphere.

Furthermore, Mr. Jobin Jose shared his profound knowledge on academic publishing, shedding light on the nuances of the process. His presentation was both informative and inspiring, encouraging faculty members to actively participate in research and contribute to the academic community.
